Welcome
My name is Leesa Barnes and I host and produce virtual events. Since 2003, I've been involved in over 500 product and virtual event launches. I know what it takes to produce a highly profitable virtual event pain-free. I love the challenges of hosting a virtual event, but it wasn't until I hosted my very first multi-speaker virtual event held over 8 consecutive days that I really became successful. About 70% of my business income comes from producing virtual events. I produce them successfully for my clients and teach them how to do it on their own. To date, I've helped my clients generate just under $1-million using my virtual event techniques. But, it wasn't always like this for me. You see, there was a time when I totally bungled a virtual event and caused myself TONS of embarassment. I thought it'd be easy to host a multi-speaker virtual event. I've seen others do it, so how hard could it really be? It's just a bunch of one-hour teleclasses held over consecutive days, right? First, I tried to organize all the details of the virtual event within two weeks. Not only did I drive myself crazy, but it drove my virtual team crazy as well. We were exchanging details about the virtual event over e-mail. And then I couldn't remember if my virtual assistant contacted the speaker's for their speaking topic and signed contracts. So, I e-mailed the speakers. Looks like the speakers were already contacted by my virtual assistant about the very same thing about a day earlier. I felt so embarrassed. Whoops! People were signing up to attend my virtual event, but we had to manually copy their information into the virtual event platform. Which means we missed a few people, including the very first person who signed up. Now there's an angry ticket in our help desk from her requesting a refund for not receiving details on how to connect to the virtual event. My virtual team is asking me yet again for the affiliate program set up details. I could've sworn that I already sent this over. Okay, I have to quickly write something up. But first, I have to deal with an exhibitor who doesn't know how to navigate through the virtual event platform. I'll have to spend some time with him on the phone walking him step-by-step. It's the 3rd time this week. What a disaster! While I made money, the headaches were not worth the confusion. I was determined NOT to repeat the same mistakes again. So, my virtual assistant and I did one thing that helped us eliminate the frustration. For our next virtual event (yes, I decided to plan another one), we documented every little step that we were doing. That's right – I sat down and wrote down the details step-by-step. It was painful. It was boring. But the effort was worth it, because... "Flip the Switch"
Virtual Event Success Not using a repeatable system will cause you to blame your team, confuse your speakers and leave you tossing and turning at night. When you use a repeatable & proven system, you'll be able to:
